SPARKIt Action! Why is it that the Macy’s Day Parade has only had 10 female character balloons in the last 84 years? 10 out of 129! That’s less than 8%! Don’t let sexism hide in the corners. Starting on Tuesday go to www.sparksummit.com to sign a petition that tells Macy’s President and CEO, Terry J. Lundgren, that we want female characters to be half of the Macy’s Day Parade balloon line-up. Bonus- We’ll be able to text in too (Number to be announced).
