The first SPARK Summit in New York City was a force to be reckoned with: hundreds of girls, activists, and educators shared  the same space and called for an end to the sexualization of girls and women in media. We’re so proud of everyone who helped make our first summit a success, and we’re THRILLED to announce the second SPARK Summit, being held in Portland, OR and sponsored by Girls Inc. of Portland!

The Summit will be held on Saturday October 29 and is FREE! Girls in grades 6-12 are invited to take part in hands on workshops, media critiques, and action stations designed to help them take a stand against negative images of girls in media.
