SPARK is expanding to high school and college campuses across the country! We’d love for you to join us in building a movement against the sexualization of girls in media. Interested? Start a SPARKit Girls chapter at your school and start SPARKing change!

Fill out this application and e-mail it to SPARK Director Dana Edell at sparksummit@gmail.com. Easy!
What does having a SPARK chapter at my school entail?
- Use local resources (radio stations, newspapers, podcasts, and more) to turn up the volume on positive messages that girls not only deserve to hear, but need to hear
- Display the SPARK logo and a link to our site on your chapter’s homepage and/or Facebook site
- Provide us with demographic information about the community that you serve at your school
- Spread petitions, videos, and other viral content generated by your group, the SPARKteam, and other SPARKit Girls chapters nationally
- Launch and support SPARKopps: campus-wide, local, and national action campaigns
- Help raise awareness about SPARK on your campus through your e-newsletter, blog, Twitter, Facebook, and other forms of communication
Why should I start a SPARK chapter at my school?
Starting a SPARKit Girls chapter is a fantastic way to connect with a huge network of feminist support to create real change. We are an organization by girls and for girls – YOU are instrumental in making us what we are! We respond to your needs, the issues in your communities, and the issues that affect all girls and women nationally.
